开头句

• One day, Jane was in a market.（有一天，简在一个市场。）
• It was a Saturday morning.（那是一个周六的早晨。）
• It was a sunny day.（那天阳光明媚。）
• It was about dinner time.（快到晚饭时间了。）
• Last week, we went to the cinema.（上周，我们去看电影了。）

结尾句

• After that, they became friends.（从那以后，他们成了朋友。）
• When they went home, they were very happy.（当他们回家时，他们非常高兴。）
• It was a meaningful day!（这一天过得很有意义！）
• They all had a great time.（他们都玩得很开心。）

让故事连贯的高频衔接词

看图写作按图推进时，衔接词决定文章是否流畅，以下词汇建议成组记忆：

• 时间推进：At first（首先）、Just then（就在那时）、Suddenly（突然）、After that（那之后）、And then（然后）、Before long（很快）、At last（最后）、Afterwards（从那以后）；
• 转折对比：However（然而）、Although（虽然）、Instead（相反的是）、Luckily（幸运的是）；
• 补充因果：Besides（除此以外）、By the way（顺便说一下）、As a result（结果）、For this reason（由于这个原因）、In order to（为了）；
• 表达观点：As far as I'm concerned（在我看来）、Obviously（显然）、Such as...（比如）、From then on（从那以后）、At the same time（同时）。

• Suddenly / Luckily / Then + 句子：Suddenly, Jane thought of an idea.（突然，简想到了一个主意。）Luckily, he caught the last bus.（幸运的是，他赶上了末班车。）
• ...because... / ...so...：Lucy was very happy because today is her friend's birthday.（露西很高兴，因为今天是她朋友的生日。）She saw a beautiful dress, so she bought that dress.（她看到一条漂亮的裙子，就买了下来。）
• so+形容词+that+从句：The film was so interesting that they enjoyed it very much.（那部电影太有趣了，他们都非常喜欢。）
• It's/was+形容词+for sb.+to do sth.：It was dangerous for children to play football in the street.（对孩子们来说在街上踢足球很危险。）
• It takes/took sb.+时间段+to do sth.：It took him about two hours to finish the homework.（他花了差不多两小时才做完作业。）
• make an appointment to do sth.：They made an appointment to go to have a picnic.（他们约好去野餐。）
• take part in sth./doing sth.：Bob took part in a summer camp held by his school.（鲍勃参加了学校举办的夏令营。）
• It's/was the first time for sb. to do sth.：It was the first time for him to leave home for such a long time.（这是他第一次离家这么长时间。）

例文一

It was a sunny day, so Sam decided to go to the park. He took a camera and rode along the cycle path. When Sam arrived, he saw many people standing in line at the ticket office. After a while, he bought a ticket and entered the park. To his surprise, a variety of beautiful flowers were blooming. Sam was so happy that he took lots of photos.

参考译文：那天阳光明媚，萨姆决定去公园。他带着相机，沿着自行车道骑行。萨姆到公园时，看到售票处有很多人在排队。过了一会儿，他买到了票，进了公园。令他惊讶的是，公园里盛开着各种各样漂亮的花。萨姆很高兴，拍了很多照片。

例文二

Last Monday, Lucy got up early in the morning to catch the bus. But when she arrived at the bus station, she found it was very crowded. Then she saw some bikes near the station which people could rent. She decided to go to school by bike. In a few moments she arrived at school. It was much faster than going by bus!
